Last Tuesday evening clashes erupted after Israeli soldiers entered the Al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron, fifteen young Palestinians were injured in the clashes, which culminated with the soldiers firing rubber bullets. Local sources said that clashes took place between local youth and Israeli soldiers after the army stopped and harassed several residents, at a roadblock installed at the entrance of the camp International Middle East Media Center reports.
The sources added that the soldiers also prevented the residents from leaving the refugee camp or entering it. With recent clashes and entrances blocked in Arroub camp life is as dismal as ever in the midst of misery a ray a comfort comes with cool water accessibility.
Upon approval of funding, implementation of the project took place in Arroub Camp Secondary Girls School, HRS-Humanitarian Relief Society in collaboration with Lady Fatemah Trust installed 6 water coolers in the school providing access to fresh water a basic human right for the student to have close to them in each of the three floors a much-desired basic water necessity.
